Abstract
Solid pseudopapillary carcinoma at the pancreas (SPCP) is a rare primary pancreatic neoplasm. It's a neoplasm with a low malignancy that may evolve years before symptoms start. We present a case of a pseudopapillary solid neoplasm of the tail of the pancreas incidentally diagnosed after an abdominal trauma in a thirteen years old boy. Ultrasound (US) features of the lesion were not specific enough to permit a precise diagnosis with certainty. But in computerized tomography (CT) the tumour has extremely good appearance. Removal of the tumour was recommended. Evolution of the tumor suggested the diagnosis of SPCP because of its characteristic solid and papillary structures, immunohistochemical and histochemical findings.
Özet
Solit- pseudopapiller karsinom (SPK) pankreasın nadir primer tümörlerindendir. Düşük grade'li tümörlerden biri olan SPK'un semptom vermeden yıllar önce başladığı düşünülmektedir. Biz 13 yaşında bir erkek hastada karın travması sonrası teşhis edilen pankreas kuyruk bölgesinde yerleşmiş bir solit- pseudopapiller karsinom olgusu sunduk. Lezyonun Ultrason(US) özellikleri tümörün kesin tanısı için yeterli değildi.
