Abstract

Aspiration of grass inflorescences which has a rare incidence in tracheobronchial foreign body aspirations shows an atypical clinical character. Its penetration movement causes sequels such as bronchiectasis which requires surgery. Two cases presented with recurrent infections and hemoptysis in whom no any foreign body was detected in bronchoscopy, grass inflorescences were detected by thoracotomy and underwent resectional surgery for segmental and lobar atelectasis. Cases are presented for their rare occurence with the review of the literature.

Özet

Trakeobronşiyal yabancı cisim aspirasyonlan içerisinde oldukça nadir rastlanan pisi pisi otu aspirasyonu atipik bir kliniğe sahiptir. Bronkoskopi ile çıkarılması oldukça güçtür. Bronsiyal sistemdeki penetran hareketi geç kalınmış olgularda kaçınılmaz olarak bronşektazi gibi cerrahi gerektiren sekellere yol açar. Tekrarlayan infeksiyon ve hemoptizi nedeniyle kliniğimize başvuran ve bronkoskopide yabancı cismin tespit edilemediği iki olguda yapılan torakotomi sonucunda pisi pisi otu tespit edildi ve sekel nedeniyle rezeksiyon uygulandı. Olgularımızı nadir olması nedeniyle literatür eşliğinde sunduk.
