Use of tire protecion chains on earthmoving equipment

Abstract

In this study, tire protection chains that are used in mines, stone quarries and related industry have been investigated. Within the scope, firstly, tire protection chains have been introduced and then history, types, estimated service life and application areas mentioned. The economy that the tire protection chains is proposed to put forward has been studied. With the aid of surveys that had directed towards tire protection chain use and carried out in four basalt and limestone quarries located in Sivas and Tekirdağ provinces, the suggested benefits provided by the protective system have been appraised.

Özet

Bu çalışmada maden, taşocağı ve ilgili endüstri alanlarında kullanılan lastik koruma zincirleri araştırılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında öncelikle lastik koruma zincirleri tanımlanmış, daha sonra tarihçesi, tipleri, tahmini hizmet ömrü ve uygulama alanlarına değinilmiştir. Koruma zincirlerinin lastik maliyetine getirdiği öne sürülen tasarruf farklı yaklaşımlar aracılığıyla irdelenmiştir. Sivas ve Tekirdağ civarında konumlanan dört adet bazalt ve kireçtaşı ocağında lastik koruma zinciri kullanımı ile ilgili anketler yapılarak, koruma sisteminin sağladığı öne sürülen faydalar değerlendirilmiştir.
