The linear programming approach to the bottleneck and solutions in the forging production process

Abstract
In this paper, in the interrupted forging production processes, bottleneck, and solutions were investigated. Previously current capacity of process, each processes time of product and all orders during the planning period were know so that processes equipment which is reason of bottleneck was determined by solutions using of linear programming method and alternative ways were developed which are suitable for policy of firm. As a results of this study, suitable alternative way was presented for economical utilisation of resource and also with regard to policy of firm.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, kesikli seri üretiminin yapıldığı bir dövme üretim prosesinde darboğazın tespiti ve çözüm yöntemleri araştırılmıştır. Öncelikle prosesin mevcut kapasitesi, ürünlerin imalat aşamalarındaki işlem zamanları ve planlama dönemi boyunca tüm ürün talepleri bilindiğinden doğrusal programlama metodu yardımıyla darboğazın bulunduğu proses elemanı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. İşletmenin genel amaçları doğrultusunda çözümler geliştirilmiş, alternatifler ortaya konmuştur. Varılan sonuçlar gerek amaca uygunluk gerekse mali açıdan ele alınarak uygun alternatifler önerilmiştir.
