An evaluation of land consolidation works in the Konya Plain projects (KOP)

Abstract

Konya Plain Projects (KOP) is the second big project for the purpose of irrigation after GAP. KOP Projects Which are generally for purposse has tought together with Land Consolidation studies such as Karaman Gödet Dam studies. This projects have been on progress since 1907. Göksu River Energy Project, as it is well known as "Blue Tunnel Project", has been occasionally announced to public opinion by way of press. The finansial support for the project has not been found either f rom foreign sources or internaly until now. In this study, an evaluation on land consolidation for KOP will be carried out by using a survey results from applications and the social structures in the region

Özet

Konya Ovaları Projesi (KOP), GAP'tan sonra gelen, sulama amaçlı ikinci büyük projedir. Genelde sulama amaçlı olan KOP projeleri Karaman Gödet barajı çalışmalarında olduğu gibi Arazi Toplulaştırma çalışmaları ile düşünülmektedir. Bu projeler 1907 yılından beri devam etmektedir. Göksu Nehri Enerji Projesi "Mavi Tünel Projesi" adıyla zaman zaman basın yoluyla kamu oyuna duyurulmuş, fakat bugüne kadar proje ile ilgili ödenek, ne dışarıdan ne de içeriden bulunamamıştır. Bu çalışmada; KOP'da yapılan Arazi Toplulaştırma sonuçlarının bir değerlendirmesi, uygulama ve sosyal yapı ile ilgili anket çalışmalarıyla yapılmıştır.
