Improvoment of turbo code's performance in flat fading channels with diversity and combining

Abstract
In this study, the performance of turbo codes in uncorrelated flat Rayleigh and uncorrelated flat Rician fading channels was examined and the feasibility of diversity and combining techniques in turbo codes to reduce negative effects of fading was searched. For this purpose, performance of designed turbo coded BPSK modulated digital communication system with regard to diversity methods was shown with computer simulations.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, turbo kodların bağımsız yatay Rayleigh ve bağımsız yatay Rician sönümlemeli kanatlardaki performansı incelenmiş ve sönümlemenin zararlı etkisini azaltmak için turbo kodlu sisteme çeşitleme ve birleştirme tekniklerinin uygulanabilirliği araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, tasarlanan turbo kodlanmış BPSK modüleli sayısal haberleşme sisteminin, uygulanan çeşitleme metotlarına göre performansı bilgisayar simülasyonları ile gösterilmiştir.
