Bonitaetsbeurteilung im Bankensektor

Abstract

During the last fifteen years rating has gained an increasing role for adequate functioning of the international financial markets. In the process of liberalization and globalization of the markets, the demand for the evaluation of the credibility of the security and issuer has increased. The aim of this study is to define and give brief information about the components and symbols of rating. Further the functions of rating concerning the investor and issuer will be analyzed. After evaluating the process and system of rating, the critics about it are being summarized.

Özet

Kredibilite derecelendirmesi geçen 15 yıl içinde uluslararası finansal piyasaların etkin bir şekilde işleyişinde gitgide artan bir önem kazanmıştır. Piyasaların globalleşme ve liberalleşme sürecinde ihraççının ve iharcın kredibilitesinin değerlendirilmesinde bir araç olarak derecelendirmeye olan talep artmıştır. Bu çalışmada öncelikle kredibilite derecelendirmesinin tanımı, önemli unsurları ve derecelendirme sembolleri hakkında bilgi verilmektedir. Daha sonra derecelendirmenin gerek yatırımcı, gerekse ihraççı açısından fonksiyonları incelenmektedir. Derecelendirme süreci ve sistemi üzerinde durulmakta ve son olarak da derecelendirmeye getirilen eleştiriler ele alınmaktadır.
