Colors In The Qur’an And Messages Given By Colors

Abstract

Colors are an important element that adds meaning and beauty to human life. According to the Qur’an, the different colors are one of the proofs of God’s existence and power. When the Qur’anic verses are examined, it is seen that the colors and the words that express the color pass through. These colors and expressions sometimes signify the infinite might of Allah, their great mercy, and the unique art that emerged in nature. Sometimes with colors, life and death, hope and frustration, faith and blasphemy, guidance and dignity, joy and sadness are depicted. Since the Qur’an is the Divine Kalam, every word and expression in it is important and meaningful to man. In the Qur’an, you know how, in what way and for what purpose, you take the guide of the Qur’an and take him as a guide, it is of great importance for him and his research. The purpose of this article is to determine what colors are in contact with the Qur’an to examine how and for what purposes the mentioned colors are included, and most importantly, to draw attention to the messages Quran gives to its counterparts through colors.

Renkler, insan hayatına anlam ve güzellik katan önemli unsurlardandır. Kur’an’a göre renklerin farklı oluşu, Allah’ın varlığının ve kudretinin delillerinden biridir. Kur’an ayetleri incelendiğinde, yer yer renklerin ve renk ifade eden kelimelerin geçtiği görülür. Bu renkler ve ifadeler, bazen Allah’ın sonsuz kudretine, engin rahmetine ve tabiatta zuhur eden eşsiz sanatına delalet eder. Bazen de renklerle yaşam ve ölüm, iman ve inkâr, umut ve karamsarlık, hidayet ve dalalet, sevinç ve keder gibi durumlar tasvir edilir. Kur’an’ı Kerim, İlahi kelam olduğundan ondaki her kelime ve ifade insan için önemli ve anlamlıdır. Dolayısıyla renklerin Kur’an’da nasıl, ne şekilde ve hangi maksatlarla yer aldıklarını bilmek, Kur’an’a inanan ve onu rehber edinen her insan ve araştırmacı için çok önem arz etmektedir. Bu makalenin amacı, Kur’an’da hangi renklere temas edildiğini araştırmak, zikri geçen renklerin ayetlerde nasıl ve hangi amaçlarla yer aldıklarını incelemek ve en önemlisi, Kur’an’ın renkler vasıtasıyla muhataplarına verdiği mesajlara dikkat çekmektir.
