Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine physical education and sports teaching students academic locus of control and achievement goals, and to reveal the relationship between these two structures. A total of 85 students (37 girls and 48 boys) participated in the study. Academic Locus of Control Scale and The 2x2 Achievement Goal Questionnaire were used to determine students academic locus of control and achievement goal orientations levels. Independent sample t test and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze data. Results showed that learning approach goal orientation was a significant predictor of internal locus of control and external locus of control.

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, beden eğitimi öğretmenliği öğrencilerinin akademik kontrol odağı ve başarı hedefleri düzeylerini belirleyerek, iki yapı arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada,37si kadın ve 48i erkek olmak üzere toplam 85 öğrenci yer almaktadır. Öğrencilerin akademik kontrol odakları ve başarı hedef yönelimleri düzeylerini belirlemek için Akademik Kontrol Odağı ve 2x2 Başarı Hedefleri Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde bağımsız gruplar için t testi ve çoklu regresyon analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Sonuçlar, öğrenme yaklaşma hedefinin içsel ve dışsal denetim odağının istatistiksel olarak anlamlı belirleyicisi olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.
