Women's Health in War and Conflict Environments

Abstract

As it was the case in the past, war is still here as apublic health problem. Armed conflicts presently goon in many different parts of the world. Theoutstanding groups most affected by wars andarmed conflict are civilians majority of whichconsists of women and children. The objective is to address the health problems andservice needs of internally displaced women andothers in the move for international migration as aresult of armed conflict. Scientific publications andinternational reports of the last ten years were gonethrough together with their findings and somesuggestions were developed from the point of publichealth
