Abstract
The determinations of suitable size of the net for vessel in construction of mid-water trawl net. In construction of mid-water trawl, the specifications of the boat and the size of net which will be used are important. If a net is too small, the vessel may not be using all the available engine power at normal towing speed; if too large, the vessel will not be able to tow it fast enough. Many formula had been developed by researcher about designing of mid-water trawl nets. In this study, two different type mid-water tawl nets which a boat which has 500 HP engine power is able to tow had been determined using mathematical resistance formula.
Özet
Orta su trol ağlarının dizayn edilmesinde, teknenin özellikleri ve kullanılacak ağın boyutları çok önemlidir. Ağ tekneden küçük ise teknenin çekim kuvvetinden yeterince yararlınalamaz, yada takım büyük ise tekne gerekli çekim kuvvetine ulaşamaz. Takımların dizayn edilmesinde bu konu üzerinde birçok araştırmacı tarafından çok sayıda formül geliştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, 500 HP motor gücüne sahip bir teknenin çekebileceği boyutlarda iki farklı orta su trol ağı, metamatiksel direnç hesaplama formülleri yardımıyla belirlenmiştir.
