An investigation on the determination of catch compositions of the bottom trawling and beach-seining in the bay of Izmir (Aegean Sea)

İzmir Körfezi'nde (Ege Denizi) dip trolü ve tratanın av kompozisyonlarının belirlenmesi üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

In this study, findings of the qualities and quantities of catches from beach-seining and bottom trawling in the Bay of Izmir were presented. A total of 57 finfish and 10 invertebrate taxa from trawling, 53 finfish and 7 invertebrate from beach seining were identified in catches sampled during May, June, July, August, September, October 1996 and September, October 1997. The total catch per unit effort (CPUE) of trawl and beach seine were estimated as 71.3 kg /hour and 23.2 kg/haul, respectively. Diplodus annularis and Mullus barbatus species dominated finfish catch in bottom trawl whereas, Diplodus annularis, Pagellus erythrinus, Mullus barbatus and Spicaraflexuosa dominated in beach seine catch composition.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, İzmir Körfezi'nden dip trolü ve trata ile elde edilmiş avın niteliği ve niceliği sunulmuştur. Mayıs, Haziran, Temmuz, Ağustos; Eylül, Ekim 1996 ve Eylül, Ekim 1997 süresince örneklenmiş avda, trolden 57 balık, 10 omurgasız; tratadan 53 balık, 7 omurgasız tanımlanmıştır. Trol ve tratada toplam birim çabaya düşen av, sırasıyla 71.3 - kg/saat ve 23.2 kg/çekim olarak hesaplanmıştır. Diplodus annularis ve Mullus barbatus trol avında baskınken; Diplodus annularis, Pagellus erythrinus, Mullus barbatus ve Spicara flexuosa türü balıklar trata av kompozisyonunda en baskın türlerdir.
