A study on determination of adaptation abilities of some grapevine rootstocks in Van ecological conditions

Abstract
This research was carried out to determine the adaptation abilities of some grapevine rootstocks in Van ecological conditions. In this study, 14 rootstocks (5 BB, 8 B, SO 4, 420 A, 161-49 C, 99 R, 1103 P, 1045 P, 140 Ru, Rupestris du Lot, 41 B, 44-53 M, Ramsey, and Harmony) were used. Phenological observations, weight of pruning cane per vine, numbers of cuttings, and ligniflcation level of cuttings were determined in the study. According to the results, the highest values in respect of weight of pruning cane were obtained from the 5 BB, 1103 P, 420 A, and Rupestris du Lot rootstocks. 5 BB and 5 BB, 420 A, 41 B gave the best results regarding numbers of cuttings and ligniflcation level of cutting, respectively. Regarding of phenological characters, 4 to 19 days difference among the rootstocks was determined.
Özet
Araştırma, bazı Amerikan asma anaçlarının Van ekolojik koşullarına adaptasyon yeteneklerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Denemede, 5 BB, 8 B, SO 4, 420 A, 161-49 C, 99 R, 1103 P, 1045 P, 140 Ru, Rupestris du Lot, 41 B, 44-53 M, Ramsey ve Harmony olmak üzere toplam 14 Amerikan asma anacı üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, anaçların fenolojik gelişme devreleri, budama odunu ağırlıkları, çelik verimleri ve odunlaşma düzeyleri saptanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, budama odunu ağırlıkları bakımından 5 BB, 1103 P, 420 A ve Rupestris du Lot; çelik sayısı bakımından 5BB; odunlaşma düzeyi bakımından ise 5 BB, 420 A ve 41 B anaçları en iyi sonucu vermiştir. Fenolojik özeliklere göre ise anaçlar arasında 4-19 gün kadar farklılık saptanmıştır.
