Abstract
İn this study some native Lathyrus L. Species in the Western Mediterrenean and Southern Aegean regions have been investigated cytotaxonomically. Morphological characteristics and chromosome number of 4 taxa have been studied by using karyological techniques. (Lathyrus sphaericus Retz. Lathyrus inconspicuus L. Lathyrus tauricola P.H. Davis. Lathyrus setifolius L.) The chromosome number of these species have been found as 2n=14

Bu çalışmada Batı Akdeniz ve Güney Ege Bölgesinde doğal olarak yetişen bazı Lathyrus L. Türleri sitotaksonomik yönden araştırılmıştır. Araştırılan dört taksonun morfolojik özellikleri ve kromozom özellikleri karyolojik teknikler kullanılarak ortaya konulmuştur. (Lathyrus sphaericus Retz. Lathyrus inconspicuus L. Lathyrus tauricola P.H. Davis. Lathyrus setifolius L.) Bu türlerin kromozom sayılan 2n= 14 bulunmuştur.
