Abstract

One of the methods, generally used for obtaining detector response function is Monte-Carlo simulation methods. The study of response function of the Na(Tl) detector for gamma rays penatrated through a certain soil thickness was investigated by the Monte-Carlo Simulation Method.

Özet

Detektörlerin cevap fonksiyonlarının elde edilmesinde yaygın olarak kullanılan yöntemlerden biri Monte Carlo benzetişim yöntemidir. Çalışmada, farklı toprak kalınlıkları için Monte-Carlo benzetişim yöntemiyle Cs-137 radyoizotopundan yayınlanan gammaların Na(TI) detektör cevap fonksiyonları incelenmiştir.
