Determination of bacterial pathogens of tomato grown in greenhouse in Isparta province

Abstract
The bacterial pathogens of tomato grown in greenhouse in İsparta province were determined. Bacterial cancer of tomato pathogen, Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis, tomato pith necrosis pathogen, Pseudomonas corrugata, and soft rot of tomato pathogen, Erwinia carotovora subsp. carotovora were detected 40, 25 and 2 of greenhouses surveyed, respectively. Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis, Pseudomonas corrugata and Erwinia carotovora subsp. carotovora were detected at the rate of 46.9 %, 29.3 % and 2.3 % of total tomato greenhouses investigated during the surveys, respectively. The bacterial pathogens of Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato and Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria were not detected during the surveys. This work was the first report of the determination of bacterial pathogens in tomato grown in greenhouses in İsparta province. The identifications of bacterial pathogens were done by symptomatological, pathological, biochemical tests and by using the bacteriological identification kits
Özet
Isparta ili ve çevresindeki sera domateslerinde görülen bakteriyel patojenler incelenmiştir. Yapılan sörveyler sonucunda 40 serada domates bakteriyel solgunluk hastalığı etmeni Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis' e, 25 serada domates öz nekrozu hastalık etmeni Pseudomonas corrugate? ya ve 1 serada da yumuşak çürüklük etmeni Erwinia carotovora subsp. carotovora' ya rastlanılmıştır. Sörveyler sonucunda % 46.9 oranında Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis, % 29.3 oranında Pseudomonas corrugata ve % 2.3 oranında Envinia caratovora subsp. caratovora tarafından oluşturulan hastalıklar tespit edilmiştir. Sörveyler sırasında bakteriyel patojenlerden Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato ile Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria' ya rastlanılmamıştır. Bu çalışma, Isparta ilinde sera domates yetiştiriciliğinde görülen bakteriyel patojenlerin tespitine yönelik ilk çalışmadır. Bakteriyel patojenlerin tanısı simptomatolojik, patolojik, biyokimyasal ve bakteriyolojik tanılama kitleri kullanılarak yapılmıştır.
