Abstract
Melanopsis corrugata, which is a new record for Turkey fauna and likely to be from the period of pleistosen, was found in Seyhan River. These samples were found to be larger and to contain more ribs on the shell compared to the previous identified samples.
Özet
Seyhan nehrinde, pleistosen dönemine ait olduğu sanılan ve Türkiye faunası için yeni olan Melanopsis corrugata saptanmıştır. Örneklerimizin, daha önce bilinen örneklerden büyük, kavkı üzerinde yer alan çıkıntı sayısı bakımından ise az olduğu bulunmuştur.
