A research study on damage of the forest trees the members of Lorantaceae family in the Marmara Region

Abstract
In this study, the members of Lorantaceae family and their hosts; leaf, seed, fruit and flower characteristics of the host plants and damages have been investigated. Six taxons have been found out in the study area as the members of the family. Mistels, especially of the Viscum album L.,direct and indirect damages on forest frees and effects on the wood quality have been determined.

Bu araştırma ile, Marmara Bölgesi taranarak Loranthaceae familyası mensupları, konukçuları ve ağaçlardaki zararları araştırılmıştır. Araştırma alanında familya mensubu olarak altı adet takson belirlen-miştir. Ökseotlan'nın, özellikle de Viscum albüm L.'un ağaçlara, direk zararı, indirekt zararı ve odun kalitesine etkileri belirlenmiştir.
