Pleomorphic adenoma of the nasal septum

Abstract
Pleomorphic adenoma is the most frequent benign tumor of the major salivary glands. It may also originate from the minor salivary glands. However, pleomorphic adenoma of the nasal septum is a very rare entity. In this report, a 37-year-old male patient who presented with nasal obstruction and epistaxis is presented. The lesion was excised endoscopically. No recurrences were observed during a follow-up period of 12 months.

Pleomorfik adenom majör tükürük bezlerinin en sık görülen benign tümörüdür. Bununla birlikte minör tükürük bezlerinden de kaynaklanabilir. Nazal septumun pleomorfik adenomu literatürde oldukça nadir bildirilmiştir. Bu yazıda, burun tıkanıklığı ve tekrarlayan epistaksis şikayetiyle kliniğimize başvuran ve nazal septum pleomorfik adenomu tanısıyla endoskopik olarak eksizyonu yapılan 37 yaşında bir erkek hasta sunulmuştur. Hastanın 12 aylık takibinde nüks görülmedi.
