Coexistence of Foveoschisis and Cystoid Macular Edema in A Case with Gyrate Atrophy

Abstract
This report presents, foveaschisis, cystoid macular edema and progression of retinal changes within six years, in a preliminary gyrat atrophy diagnosed 20-year-old girl consulting for a progressive fall of visual acuity and night blindness. Clinical findings of foveaschisis and cystoid macular edema that is accompanying chorioretinal atrophy were evaluated both morphologically by using fundus autofluorescence imaging, infrared imaging, fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography and functionally by using microperimetry, full-field and multifocal electroretinography

Bu makalede, gece körlüğü ile birlikte ilerleyici görme azlığı gelişen girat atrofi tanılı 20 yaşında bayan hastada tespit edilen foveaskizis, kistoid maküler ödem ve eşlik eden retinal değişikliklerin altı yıl içerisindeki progresyonu sunulmaktadır. Koryoretinal atrofi alanlarına eşlik eden foveaskizis ve kistoid makuler ödem kliniği, fundus otofloresans, kızılötesi görüntüleme, floresein anjiografi ve optik koherens tomografi yöntemleri ile morfolojik olarak, mikroperimetri, tam alan ve multifokal elektroretinografi yöntemleri ile de fonksiyonel olarak değerlendirilmiştir
