Abstract

Anomalies of retinal arteries can be observed in Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON). In this report, we present a patient with retinal artery branching anomaly in which each inferior temporal artery had a large branch passing around the fovea to supply the superior temporal quadrant, and 11778 mutation revealed the diagnosis of LHON. This abnormal pattern of the retinal arteries has not been reported in LHON before.

Özet

Peripapiller retinal damar telenjiektazileri Leber’in Heredi- ter Optik Nöropatisi (LHON) için patognomoniktir.
