Tolaretad cilium embedded in the retina (Case report)

Abstract
A case of tolerated intraocular cilium embedded in the retina for an unkown period without a history of trauma is reported. This case demonstrates a long term tolerance of the eye to intraocular cilium with the preservation of normal visual functions without any inflammatory response.
Özet
Bu sunumda travma öyküsü olmaksızın belirlenemeyen bir süredir retinada gömülü olarak bulunan bir kirpik olgusu bildirilmektedir. Bu vaka göziçi kirpiğin, uzun süre herhangi bir inflamatuar yanıt oluşmadan, normal görme fonksiyonlarının korunarak tolere edilebildiğini göstermektedir.
