Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate whether Shift Work Practice(SWP) has achieved its predetermined goals based on the views of health workers and users of the hospitals in which SWP has been practiced. Two separate questionnaires as data collection tool were developed for the health workers and the users by the researchers. The study was carried out in the hospitals, which SWP has been practiced, in the boundaries of Ankara Metropolitan Area. According to the study results the health workers and users have different views on the sustainability of SWP. The users of the hospitals in which SWP has been practiced stated that they were satisfied with it, supported it, and would recommend it to others, and the practice should be generalised to other hospitals. Unlike the users, the majority of health workers stated that they were not satisfied with the practice, and it should be abondenned.
