The Responsibilities of Nurse in Pain Management

Abstract

Pain management is a complicated process and it requires a systematic team work. Nurse, keeping patient company in all phases of the treatment, is an essential member of the health team in pain management. Nurse's monitoring of the patient and recording from the diagnosis of the pain to the treatment and again in re-monitoring also guides the other members of the team. On the grounds of this important role, nurses need to have adequate knowledge and skill about pain management, and give required nursing care in the most correct way.

Özet

Ağrı yönetimi kompleks bir süreçtir ve sistematik bir ekip çalışması gerektirir. Hastayla tedavinin tüm aşamalarında beraber olan hemşire, ağrı yönetiminde sağlık ekibinin vazgeçilmez üyesidir. Ağrının tanılanmasından tedavisine ve tekrar değerlendirilmesine kadar hemşirenin hastayı takip etmesi ve kayıt tutması, ekibin diğer üyelerine de yol gösterir. Bu önemli rolü nedeniyle hemşirelerin ağrı yönetimi konusunda yeterli bilgi beceriye sahip olmaları ve gerekli hemşirelik bakımını en doğru şekilde vermeleri gerekmektedir.
