Abstract
Public health is the effort in a society to make everyone healthy. For this purpose what is just as important as working as a specialist to improve health service provision, is working to improve a society’s health “literacy.” Such an approach can be life-long, and with that approach “personal thoughts have been gathered on the fight against COVID-19 and public information efforts related to the fight. I have also provided my suggestions for our “new life” in the upcoming days.

Halk sağlığı uzmanlığı toplumda herkesin sağlıklı olması için emek vermektir. Bu amaçla sağlık hizmet sunumunun iyileştirilmesinde görev almak kadar önemli olan, uzman sorumluluğu ile, toplumun sağlık okuryazarlığının gelişmesi için de çalışmaktır. Ömür boyu yerine getirilebilecek bu sorumlulukla COVID-19 salgını sırasında yapılan uygulamalar ve bilgilendirme etkinliklerine ilişkin görüşlerimi derledim bu yazıda ve gelecek günlerde yaşayacağımız “YENİ HAYAT” için önerilerimi sundum.
