Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic once again reminded health inequalities. There are some groups that are more likely to develop the disease, as well as groups that are at risk of developing severe complications if they develop the disease, and have the potential to be negatively affected by the socioeconomic consequences of the pandemic. Postponing treatments for some diseases, such as cancer, can lead to clinically unwanted results. In addition to protecting patients at risk from COVID-19, it is the duty of the states to ensure that these groups are provided with safe and continuous health services and that socioeconomic support can be provided if necessary. It is essential to provide sustainable health services for the disadvantaged groups at risk with the health for all approach and the slogan “no one left behind”.
