Photodynamic therapy of symptomatic choroidal hemangioma associated with Sturge-Weber syndrome

Abstract
In this case report, photodynamic therapy and its results in a 12 years old patient with symptomatic choroidal hemangioma due to Sturge-Weber syndrome is discussed. In our case, photodynamic therapy has been successful in treating serous retinal detachment due to symptomatic choroidal hemangioma associated with Sturge-Weber syndrome.
Özet
Bu olgu sunumunda, 12 yaşındaki Sturge-Weber sendromuna bağlı olarak gelişen semptomatik koroid hemanjiomu bulunan bir olgunun fotodinamik tedavi ile tedavisi ve sonuçları tartışılmaktadır. Olgumuzda fotodinamik tedavi, Sturge-Weber sendromuna eşlik eden semptomatik koroid hemanjiomunun neden olduğu seröz retina dekolmanını tedavi etmede başarılı olmuştur.
