The production of copper based shape memory alloys and characterization by means of tensile testing

Abstract
In this study, a brief historical development, application types, characteristic properties of Shape Memory Alloys (SMA) was given in introduction section. Information about the general production techniques and the characterization methods of the SMA's are given in the latter sections. In the final section, information about the recent studies which was the main subject of this study; the production and characterization of SMA's by tensile tests were given.
Özet
Bu çalışmada Şekil Bellekli Alaşımlar (ŞBA), tarihi gelişimi, uygulama şekilleri ve karakteristik özellikleri ile hakkında kısa bilgiler giriş kısmında bahsedilmekte. Daha sonraki kısımlarda ŞBA'ların genel üretim yöntemleri. ŞBA'ların karakterizasyonunda kullanılan metotlar hakkında bilgiler verilmekte. Son bölümde ise konuya esas olan Cu esaslı ŞBA'ların üretimi, çekme deneyi ile ilgili çalışmalar ve elde edilen sonuçlar verilmektedir.
