Abstract

The patient, who was 34-year-old applied to the emergency unit with non-specific complaints includ- ing chills, shivers, and listlessness. In the PA lung graphy, a rather large, limited mass lesion with a smooth border that was adjacent to the left side of the heart was detected. The thorax MR imaging, revealed a massive lesion of 49x22x17 mm in the level of T-8-9 thoracic vertebrae at the left pedincul level. The mass was totally excised. Following the histological examination, the mass was diagnosed with a grade-I chondrosarcoma. Chondrosarcoma is most commonly seen among the primary malignant tumors of the chest wall. It is generally treated with large, surgical excision.

Özet

Otuz dört yaşındaki erkek hasta üşüme, titreme, hal- sizlik gibi non spesifik bulgularla acil servise başvurdu. PA Akciğer grafisinde sol kalp kenarını silen oldukça büyük düzgün sınırlı bir kitle lezyonu saptandı. Toraks MR görüntülenmesinde T-8-9 düzeyinde torakal ver- tebra sol pedinkül düzeyinde 49x22x17 mm boyutla- rında kitlesel lezyon izlendi. Kitle total olarak eksize edildi. Histolojik inceleme sonucu ile evre-I kondro- sarkom tanısı kondu. Kondrosarkom göğüs duvarının primer malign tümörleri arasında en sık olanıdır. Tedavisinde geniş cerrahi eksizyon uygulanmaktadır.
