Structure of Last Period Ottoman Architecture

Abstract

Studies on the structure of Otoman Architecture have concentrated on the foundation and development of court architecture( Hassa Mimarlar Ocağı). Otoman Architecture of the last period has been neglected and there have been few studies on it compared to classical period. Structural changes and function of architecture of this period have not been dealt with. The structure of Otoman Architecture has been dealt with in order to enlight the literature of last period history of art, foundation and developments of Hassa Architecture have been pointed out and phases of this foundation from the beginning of 19th century till the collapse of the Empire have been investigated in details.
