Abstract

Objective : Limb body wall complex has been consisted of the spectrum of defects, seen early amnion rupture sequence. In this report, a case of limb body wall complex diagnosed by antenatal ultrasonography is presented. Case: A 24-year-old, gravida 1, para 0, admitted to our rotuine antenatal clinic at Kahramanmarafl Sütçüimam University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obs&Gyn. Since ultrasound examination delineated abdominoschisis, scoliosis, bilateral pas equinevarus in low extremities, unilateral choroid plexus cyst, amnion rupture and short umbilical cord, the diagnosis of Limb Body Wall Complex was applied. Conclusion: Ultrasonographic detection of thoraco and/or abdominoschisis, scoliosis and abnormalities of the lower extremities is useful for prenatal diagnosis of Limb Body Wall Complex.
