Abstract
Coronary artery perforation is the most feared and life-threatening cause of percutaneous coronary interventions complications. A case of coronary perforation, in a 58-year-old patient who was admitted to the coronary angiography laboratory due to acute coronary syn- drome, is presented after non-compliant balloon angioplasty following bare metal stent implantation in the left anterior descending ar- tery. Ellis type III perforation first was treated with prolonged balloon inflation, but the patient was treated with a graft stent that was placed on the patient's late onset of pericardial tamponade during follow-up of coronary intensive care.
Özet
Koroner arter perforasyonu, perkütan koroner girişimlerin, en korkulan ve hayatı tehdit edici komplikasyonlarından birisidir. Akut koroner sendrom tanısı ile koroner anjiyografi laboratuvarına alınan 58 yaşındaki hastanın sol ön inen arterine çıplak metal stent implantasyonu sonrası yapılan non-kompliyan balon anjiyoplasti işlemi sırasında gelişen koroner perforasyon vakası sunulmaktadır. Gelişen Ellis tip III per- forasyon, önce uzamış balon şişirilmesi ile tedavi edildi ancak hastada geç dönemde koroner yoğun bakım takibi sırasında perikardiyal tamponad gelişmesi üzerine bu kez yerleştirilen greft stent ile tedavi edildi.
