Successful ligation of the patent ductus arteriosus of a premature baby with respiratory distress syndrome

Abstract

Patent ductus arteriosus is more frequently seen in premature and low birth weight babies. Succesful double ligation of the patent ductus arteriosus of a premature 30 weeks baby (1200 gr), with heterozygote twin and respiratorty distress syndorome, was performed. The outcome was reported by the fourth mount.

Özet

Prematür ve doğum ağırlığı düşük olan bebeklerde patent duktus arteriosus (PDA) sıklıkla görülmektedir. Heterozigot ikiz eşi olan, 30 haftalık 1200 gr ağırlığındaki prematür bebekte, gelişen respiratuar distres sendromu varlığında, PDA'nın çift ligasyon ve transfiksiyonu başarı ile uygulandı. Hasta 4 aylık takip sonuçlarıyla sunuldu.
