Abstract

Torsades de pointes is a specific type of polimorphic tachycardia, associated with prolonged QT interval. Drugs that prolong QT interval is one of the important cause of torsades de pointes. We report a case with long QT and TdP concomitant use of amiodarone, antibiotics and proton pump inhibitors. Herewith, we briefly discussed drug induced TdP's.
