Abstract

Leber's idiopathic stellate neuroretinitis is a clinical picture which consists of unilateral visual loss, optic disc edema and macular star formation. We herein report a case of acute onset comitant esotropia associated with Leber's idiopathic stellate neuroretinitis. The resultant esotropia is thought to be the consequence of interruption of binocularity due to monocular visual loss.

Özet

Leber'in idiopatik stellat nöroretiniti genellikle tek gözde görme kaybı, optik disk ödemi ve maküler yıldız oluşumu ile ortaya çıkan bir klinik tablodur. Burada, Leber'in idiopatik stellat nöroretiniti ile birlikte ortaya çıkmış olan bir akut komitan ezotropya olgusu sunulmaktadır. Hastada gelişen komitan ezotropyanın tek gözde görme kaybı nedeniyle binoküler görmenin kesintiye uğraması sonucu oluştuğu düşünülmektedir.
