Approaches of Accounting Students at the Vocational Collages to Work in Business in Their Field)

Meslek Yüksek Okullarında Muhasebe Eğitimi Alan Öğrencilerin İş Dünyasında Muhasebe Mesleğinde Çalışmaya Karşı Tutumları

Abstract

Although trained and qualified workforce is extremely significant for the success of business surrounding, there is a research shortcoming on the behaviors of the students studying accounting against working in the accounting occupation in business. From this point of view, the aim of this study is to examine the behaviors of the students studying accounting at Technical Higher Schools against working in the accounting occupation in business. This study has been realized in accordance with Likert Scale for behavior. Having given information on the historical process of the accounting occupation in Turkey, information on the accounting training and the structural position of accounting occupation in Turkey was given and the subject of behaviors was explained theoretically and as a result, a questionaire study was realized in order to determine the behaviors of the students studying accounting at Technical Higher Schools against working in the accounting occupation in business.

Özet

Eğitimli ve nitelikli işgücü, iş dünyasının başarısı için son derece önemli olmasına rağmen, muhasebe eğitimi alan öğrencilerin iş dünyasında muhasebe mesleğinde çalışmaya karşı tutumları konusunda Türkiye'de araştırma eksikliği mevcuttur. Bu noktadan hareketle bu çalışmanın amacı Meslek Yüksekokullarında muhasebe eğitimi alan öğrencilerin iş dünyasında muhasebe mesleğinde çalışmaya karşı tutumlarını incelemektedir. Bu inceleme Likert tipi bir tutum ölçeğiyle yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızda Türkiye'de muhasebenin tarihsel gelişimi hakkında bilgi verdikten sonra, Türkiye'de muhasebe eğitimi ve muhasebe mesleğinin yapısal durumu hakkında bilgiler verilmiş; tutumlar konusu teorik olarak açıklanmış ve sonunda Meslek Yüksekokullarında muhasebe eğitimi alan öğrencilerin iş dünyasında muhasebe mesleğinde çalışmaya karşı tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır.
