Infected orbital cyst after enucleation

Abstract
Enucleation and anophthalmic socket is still a challenging subject for the ophthalmologists. Enucleation may be associated with several intraoperative and postoperative complications. Orbital cyst formation is a rare complication of enucleation. In this case report we have presented a patient who had infected orbital cyst after enuclation and was treated with aspiration of the cyst and alcohol injection.

Enükleasyon ve anoftalmik soket, halen göz hekimleri için uğraştırıcı bir konudur. Enükleasyon sırasında ve sonrasında birtakım komplikasyonlar olabilir. Orbital kist oluşumu, nadir görülen bir komplikasyondur. Bu yazıda enükleasyon sonrası enfekte orbital kist gelişen, aspirasyon ve alkol enjeksiyonu ile tedavi edilen bir olgu sunulmuştur.
