Abstract
In this work, satellite, control and user sections of GPS which determine the position using satellite is introduced. This system is compared with other navigation systems in aviation and its conditions to be used in aviation is given.

Bu çalışmada uyduya dayalı konum belirleme sistemi olan Global Positioning System (GPS) uydu, kontrol ve kullanıcı bölümleri ile tanıtılmıştır. Bu sistemin havacılıkta kullanılan diğer navigasyon sistemleri ile karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır ve GPS'in havacılıkta kullanım şartları belirtilmiştir.
