Eğik düzlem üzerinde yerçekimi etkisiyle oluşan serbest yüzeyli su akımı

Abstract

In this study, a series of experimental measurements have been done in order to investigate the water flow over an inclined surface by the effect of gravity forces. The velocity of flow over inclined surface, type of flow, and stream tube occured on surface were calculated. In this study, the velocity was measured by three types of methods; one is theoretical, and other two are experimental. The results of measurements were compared to each others. At the result, it was observed that; the velocity values of theoretical method were higher than the experimental methods. Its reason is neglecting the friction losses in theoretical method. The lost coefficient was derived by the ratio of correlations between theoretical and experimental values.

Bu çalışmada eğik düzlem üzerinde yer çekimi etkisiyle oluşan serbest yüzeyli su akımını ölçebilmek için bir dizi deneysel çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Eğik düzlem üzerindeki suyun hızı, akışın türü ve oluşan akım borusunun kesiti hesaplanmıştır. Çalışmada ikisi deneysel biri teorik, üç ayrı yöntemle hız hesaplanmış, ölçümler arasında kıyaslamalar yapılmıştır. Neticede teorik hız değerlerinin, deneysel değerlerden daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Bunun sebebi teorik hesaplamada kayıp miktarın dikkate alınmamasıdır. Teorik ve deneysel değerler için türetilen korelasyonların oranlarıyla aradaki kayıp katsayısı tespit edilmiştir.
