Abstract
The Origanum vulgare L., Family (Labiatae), Buxus sempervirens L., Family (Buxaceae), Sambucus nigra L., Family (Caprifoliaceae), Aesculus hippocastanum L., Family (.Hippocastanaceae), Hypericum perforatum L., Family (Compositae), Viscum album L., Family ( Loranthaceae), Diospyros kaki L., Family (Ebenaceae), Ocimum basiîicum L., Family (Labiatae), Alnus glutinosa Goertn, Family (Betulaceae) and Achilea biebersteinii Willd, Family (Compositae), insecdicidal effect and antifeedant are reported. The 95% alcohol extracts of plants were tested for toxicity against the 2-3th instar larvae of the Lymantria dispar L. (Lep: Lymantridae). Antifeedant activity of the extracts was assessed through tests conducted on the larvae of L. dispar by the feeding protection bioassay. In tests carried out on the larvae of L. dispar, O. vulgare, S. nigra, and B. sempervirens extracts showed high toxicity with 48 hour LCso's of 60%, 6.0%, and 60respectively. The toxicity effects of the other extracts were determined as 50%, 40%, 40%, 40%, 50%, 20% and 30% within the same period respectively. But no mortality was determined on control I and II group alcohol extract from B. sempervirens, O. Vulgare and A. hippocastanum showed high antifeedant activity (34.84; 29.39 ve 28.23). On the larvae of L.dispar In addition to both O. Vulgare B. sempervirens S. nigra and A. hyppocastanum extracts caused decrease consumption of food per 1 mg of larvae body weight decrease showed high -35.61 %; -21.01 % ve -16.14 % respectively. The highest consumption (57.9mg) was observed with alcohol extract from, V. album and the minimum consumption (34.54) was with alcohol extract f£öm B.sempervirens. The other tested extracts showed similar activity.
Özet
Origanum vulgare L., Family (Labiatae), Buxus sempervirens L., Familya (B\\xsLceae),Sambucus nigra L., Familya (Caprifoliaceae), Aesculus hippocastanum L, Familya (Hippocastanaceae), Hypericum perforatum L., Familya (Compositae), Viscum album L.,-Familya ( Loranthaceae), Diospyros haki L., Familya (Ebenaceae), Ocimum basiîicum L., Familya (Labiatae), Alnus glutinosa Goertn, Familya (Betulaceae) ve Achiîea biebersteinii Willd., Familya (Compositae), bitkilerinden kaynaklanan insekdisit etki ve iştah kesici aktivite rapor edildi. Kontrol I ve kontrol II grubunda hiçbir ölüm tespit edilemedi.
