Abstract

Syncope and seizure share some clinical characteristics which may lead to diagnostic confusion. Here we report the case of a patient with carotid sinus syncope due to recurrent hypopharyngeal carcinoma which was misdiagnosed as epilepsy.

Özet

Senkop ve nöbet tanısal karışıklığa yol açabilecek bazı ortak klinik özellikler taşır. Bu yazıda epilepsi tanısı alan rekürren hipofarinks kanserine bağlı gelişen bir karotis sinus senkoplu hastayı sunuyoruz.
