Abstract

Meckel’s diverticulum is the most frequently observed con- genital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract. Meckel’s di- verticulum which is incidentally diagnosed in adulthood, sometimes can present with life-threatening complications. In this article, Meckel’s diverticulum in a 27 years old adult male, occuring due to internal herniation of the small bo- wel and subsequent ileus is presented.

Özet

Meckel Divertikülü toplumda en sık görülen konjenital gastrointestinal sistem anomalisidir. Erişkin dönemde te- sadüfen tanı konulan bu durum bazen yaşamı tehdit eden komplikasyonlarla da karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu makalede 27 yaşında erişkin bir erkekte Meckel divertikülüne bağ- lı gelişen internal incebağırsak herniasyonu ve onu takip eden ileus olgusu sunulmaktadır.
