Abstract
In thus study, financial performances of companies in the Istanbul Stock Exchange BIST -Tourism sector areanalyzed. Primarily, in order to demonstrate the financial position of the firms, financial ratios are determinedand calculated. Later on with the help of TOPSIS method calculated financial ratios are converted into a singlescore that is showing the firm’s overall performance. Finally, enterprises are ranked through performance scores.As a result, we detected primary financial ratios which are effective at determining performance scores of enterprises operating in the sector
Özet
Bu çalışmada, Borsa İstanbul’da BİST işlem gören 11 adet turizm işletmesinin finansal performansları analizedilmiştir. Öncelikle işletmelerin finansal durumlarını ortaya koymak amacıyla finansal oranlar tespit edilmiş vehesaplanmış, daha sonra bu oranlar TOPSIS yöntemi kullanılarak şirket performansını gösteren genel bir puanaçevrilmiştir. Son olarak performans puanları ile işletmeler arasında sıralama yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda,sektörde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin performans puanlarının belirlenmesinde etkili olan öncelikli finansal oranlar saptanmıştır
