Electrokinetically driven flows in microchannels and capillaries

Abstract
This paper aims to provide an introduction to electrokinetically driven flows in microchannel and capillaries for the novice. Basic definitions and the terminology used in electro-osmosis and electrophoresis are summarized. Equations for the Poisson-Boltzman model of the Electric Double Layer are presented. Previous theoretical, numerical and experimental studies are reviewed.

Bu çalışma, yeni başlayanlar için, mikrokanallar ve kapiler borularda elektrokinetik olarak yönlendirilen akıma dair bir giriş sunmayı hedefler. Elektroosmoz ve elektroforezde kullanılan terminoloji ve temel tanımlar özetlenmiştir. (Electric Double Layer) Elektriksel Çift Tabaka'nın Poisson Bottzman modeli için denklemler sunulmaktadır. Bugüne kadar yapılmış teorik, rakamsal ve deneysel çalışmalar incelenmekledir.
