Abstract
Heterotopic ossification (HO) is a biological process characterized by the formation of genuine new bone in tissues that do not ossify under normal conditions. Herein a 75-year-old woman who developed HO in her left hemiplegie hip following a hemorrhagic stroke is presented.

Heterotopik Ossifikasyon (HO), biyolojik bir süreç olup normalde ossifiye olmaması gereken bir dokuda gerçek yeni kemik oluşumudur ve hemipleji sonrası ender görülen bir komplikasyondur. Burada 75 yaşında, serebral hemoraji sonrası sol hemipleji ve sol kalçasında HO gelişen bir kadın hasta sunulmaktadır.
