Flora of the region between alucra (Giresun)-Şiran (Gümüşhane)

Abstract

The study area is at the border of Alucra (Giresun) and Şiran (Gümüşhane), belongs to the A7 square according to the Davis' grid system and phytogeographycally in the transition zone between Euro-Siberian and Irano-Turanian phytogeographical regions. The study area has three types of vegetations: forest, destroyed forest and steppe. 618 plant specimens were collected between the years 1999 and 2000. As a result of identification, 415 species and subspecies which are belong to 61 families and 205 genera were found. The distribution of species according to phytogeographical regions is as follows: Irano-Turanian 25.78 %, Euro-Siberian 10.12 %, Euxine 4.82 %, Mediterranean 3.13 % and widespread and unknown 56.15 %. 54 of the species are endemic and its ratio to total is 13 %. 80 species collected in the area were determined as new records for A7 square.

Araştırma alanı Giresun ve Gümüşhane illerine bağlı Alucra ve Şiran ilçelerinin arasında kalmakta, Davis'in grid sistemine göre A7 karesinde ve fitocoğrafya bakımdan Avrupa-Sibirya ve İran-Turan bölgeleri arasında bir geçiş zonunda bulunmaktadır. Araştırma alanında başlıca üç vejetasyon tipi bulunmaktadır: orman, bozuk orman ve step. 1999-2000 yılları arasında bölgeden 618 adet bitki örneği toplanmıştır. Toplanan örneklerin isimlendirilmesi sonucunda 61 familyaya ait 205 cins ve 415 tür ve tür altı takson tespit edilmiştir. Türlerin floristik bölgelere dağılımı şöyledir: İran-Turan % 25.78, Avrupa-Sibirya % 10.12, Öksin % 4.82, Akdeniz % 3.13 ve geniş yayılışlı ve yayılışı belirlenemeyenler % 56.15'dir. Endemik takson sayısı 54 olup endemizm oranı % 13'tür. Yapılan literatür taramaları sonucunda araştırma alanından toplanan 80 türün A7 karesi için yeni kayıt olduğu belirlenmiştir.
