Local names and ethnobotanical features of some wild plants of Çıldır (Ardahan) and its vicinity

Abstract
In this study, the local names and the ethnobotanical features of 65 species belonging to 28 families collected from Çıldır (Ardahan) and its environment are given. The 25 species medicinal, 24 species edible and others for various aims are used. One of them is belonging to Usneaceae (Lichenes) which is widespread in the regions.
Özet
Bu çalışmada Çıldır (Ardahan) ve çevresinden toplanan 28 familyaya ilgin 65 türün yerel adları ve halk arasındaki kullanılışları verilmiştir. Saptanan bitkilerin 25’i tıbbi, 24’ü yenen ve diğerleri değişik amaçlarla kullanılmaktadır. Bu türlerden bir tanesi Usneaceae (Lichenes) familyasından olup bölgede yaygın olması nedeniyle bitki listesine dahil edilmiştir.
