Primary lymphoma of testis

Abstract

Primary lymphomas account for only 5% of all neoplasm of the testis. Testis is the organ which is often involved in the progress of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, but is quite rare to arise primarily as a tumor of testis. In our study clinicopathologic features of cases, diagnosed in H.Ü.T.F between the years of 1989-1998 are presented, and the immunophenotypes of the lesions are identified.

Özet

Testisin primer malign lenfomaları tüm testis lenfomalarının % 5'ini oluşturmaktadır. Testis Non-Hodgkin lenfoma seyrinde sıklıkla tutulurken, primer olarak testis tümörü şeklinde başlayan malign lenfomalar oldukça az görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada 1989-1998 yılları arasında H.Ü.T.F.'de tanı almış altı primer testis lenfomasına ait klinikopatolojik bulgular yeniden değerlendirilmekte ve olgulara ait immünfenatiplendirmeye yönelik çalışmaların sonuçları sunulmaktadır.
