Analytical Search of 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup and Comparison with the Other Cups

2002 Kore-Japonya Dünya Kupasının Analitik Olarak İncelenmesi ve Diğer Dünya Kupaları ile Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to search analytically of 2002 Korea-Japan world cup and compare with the other world cups. In our study, statistics about numbers of goals-scored, substitutes, spectators, the players who punished with yellow and red cards, the numbers of the fauls and the durations of the playing with the ball, the numbers of the off-sides and corners, the ratio of the winning game of the teams which scored the first goal and the durations of the ball in the game according to the 1998 world cup, success ratios of participant countries are taken into attention and a comparison is made between World Cup Finals. Also World Cup Finals are compared about the host continents to competitions. As a result, more goals were scored and more substitutes were made in the second half of the matches. The defenders had more cards and the losing teams had made more fouls and had more cards. The teams which won and losed the game had played with the ball in the equal time. The teams which scored the first goal had more ratio in the winning game. In this study, the numbers of red cards in the 2002 World Cup were more than the cards of the 1998 World Cup and the duration of the ball in the game in the 2002 World Cup was little than the duration of the 1998 World Cup.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, FIFA'nın önemli organizasyonlarından biri olan 2002 Dünya Kupasının istatiksel olarak analizi ve diğer Dünya Kupalarıyla bir karşılaştırılmasının yapılması amaçlanmaktadır. Yaptığımız çalışmada, 2002 Dünya Kupasında kaydedilen gollerin ve yapılan oyuncu değişikliklerinin devrelere göre, kart ile cezalandırılan oyuncuların mevkilere göre, yapılan faullerin ve topla oynama sürelerinin kazanan-kaybeden takımlara göre, Sarı ve Kırmızı kartların, off-side, taç ve korner atışlarının kazanan ve kaybeden takımlara göre, ilk golü kaybeden takımların maçı kazanma yüzdelerine göre, topun oyunda kaldığı sürelerin 1998 Dünya Kupasına göre, Dünya Kupalarındaki seyirci ve gol sayılarına göre dağılımlarına bakılmış ve bu parametreler açısından bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Sonuçta; maçların II. Devresinde, daha fazla gol atıldığı, ve oyuncu değişikliği yapıldığı, savunma oyuncularının daha fazla kart gördüğü, kaybeden takımların daha fazla faul yaptığı ve daha fazla kart gördüğü, kazanan ve kaybeden takımların topla eşit sürelerde oynadığı, ilk golü atan takımların maçı kazanma yüzdesinin çok yüksek olduğu, 2002 Dünya Kupasında gösterilen kırmızı kartların sayısının 1998 Dünya Kupasından sonra en fazla sayıda olduğu, topun oyunda kaldığı sürenin 1998 Dünya Kupasına göre daha düşük olduğu yaptığımız bu istatiksel çalışmada belirlenmiştir.
