Comparison of computerized and conventional Doppler indexes of normal and growth retarded (IUGR) pregnancies

Abstract

Comparison of Computerize and Conventional Doppler Indexes of Normal and Growth Retarded (IUGR) Pregnancies In 3 gestational ages (<24 week, 24-32 week, >32 week), we assesed and compared 3 conventional (pulsatile Index, resistance index, A/B ratio) and 5 computerize index (Pulse related index-PRI, Resistance index-RI, index-RI, area ratio of waves-ARW and angle of coincidental slopes-ACS) of Doppler waves on the 4 arteries (umblicaL middle serebral, left and right uterine arteries) of 96 normal and 18 growth retarded pregnancies. There were no significant difference among 3 conventional and 5 computerize Doppler wave indexes of normal and growth retarded pregnancies. This indefinite results may be due to faulty measuring which is made manually and not founding an appropriate index to the gestastional pathology.

Özet

Normal tandı 96, IUGR lı 18 gebede, 3 gebelik yaşı döneminde ( 32. hafta) 4 damardan (umblikal, orta serebral sağ ve sol uterin arterler) alınan Doppler dalga imajları, 3 konvansiyonel indeks (Pıdsattl indeks, rezistans indeks, A/B oranı) ve 5 komputerize indeks (Pıdse related indeks-PRI, Rezistans indeks-RI, A/B oranı, area ratio of waves-ARW ve angle of coincidental slopes-ACS) İle karşılaştırıldı. Konvansiyonel ve komputerize indeksler normal ve IUGR tandı gebeleri ayırd edebilmekte yetersiz kaldı. Doppler ölçümûndeki belirsizlikler; uygun indekslerin uygun patolojilere kıdlandmaması ve manuel olarak yapdan öl¬çümler nedeni ile kişisel ölçüm farkhhklanndan kaynaklanabÛir.
